UHF Airborne Synthetic Aperture Radar

SkySAR is a state-of-the-art airborne synthetic aperture radar (SAR) designed to provide high quality data for terrain mapping and target detection in all weather conditions. Its P-Band frequencies penetrate foliage, vegetation, camouflage, and dry soil to detect surface or shallow-buried objects hidden to optical sensors.

Four polarimetric channels are collected simultaneously, enabling advanced detection and classification techniques. For applications requiring real-time target detection, SkySAR has on-board image formation and two image analyst workstations with image processing and target detection software.
